There are sooo many projects that need to happen to get this new house "done".  I'm going to try to keep an ongoing list here not just for me but so you can see what my whole plan is.  I apologize if some of it seems overly detailed, it's really just for me to remember all the steps before diving into a new project.

Lets start from the bottom up...

Basement aka "Steve's Man Cave"-
This room came pretty much done with new carpet and paint, and honestly, it's Steve's room so I don't care what happens here.

Craft Room -
Paint
Install Shelves
Hang Organizer Bars
Replace Curtains

Door Area -
Fix/Replace Door
Clean out stuff already lingering there
Paint...maybe...not a high priority

Main Floor

Entry way -

Paint trim

Paint front door

Caulk, caulk, caulk

Remove storm door

Replace door handle to nice big one

Hang some artwork
Paint grandfather clock on wall
Hang clock

Dining Room -
Install crown molding
Paint trim
Trim out window
Trim out doorway to kitchen
Fix squeaking floor
Level floor
Install laminate flooring
Replace curtains
Buy mismatching chairs for table
Paint mismatching chairs
Upholster mismatching chairs
Hang some artwork
Replace vent covers

Kitchen -
Caulk cabinet doors
Repaint yellowing doors (i didn't use the right primer)
Install crown molding
Hang some artwork
Make roman shades for windows
Install built in shelving/desk around nook window
Remove tile
Install laminate flooring
Install molding around chalkboard
Install molding around island (1/3 way there)
Create dog food station
Upgrade dishwasher and fridge
Remove bulkhead and raise cabinets
Install microwave
Install lighting over island
Install pot lights all around cabinets
Install light above sink
Fix/Replace fan/light in nook
Replace sink window
Install garbage disposal
Replace vent covers

Half Bath -
Caulk, caulk, caulk
Paint Trim
Install trim on door
Replace door hinge hardware
Finish fixing the toilet
Remove linoleum
Install laminate or maybe tile?
Hang some artwork
Utilize the storage there
Replace window
Replace vent covers

Living Room - 
Finish laminate/trim out
Replace door (maybe french doors...i can dream right)
Remove all paneling and drywall
Install crown molding
Install molding around door opening
Install molding around new patio door
Fix the hot mess that is the wood stove
Install built-ins around wood stove
Reinstall TV mount lower
Finish putting back all plate covers
Hang some artwork
Hang some curtains over doors
Install molding on garage door
Replace vent covers

Second Floor

Hallway - 
Prime spots
Paint trim
Paint walls
Hang some artwork
Paint Doors
Install molding on doors
Replace boob lights
Replace smoke detector (doesn't work)
Install laminate flooring
Redesign linen closet to be more efficient

Master Bedroom -
Shampoo carpet (eventually replace)
Install molding on doors
caulk, caulk, caulk
Replace aluminum window
Install molding around windows
Paint trim
Paint walls
Paint furniture
Make a bed frame
Install closet doors
Find a better layout
Reinstall plate covers
Find and spray paint another lamp for Steve's side of bed
Find/build two matching side tables
Replace vent covers

Full Bath - 
Replace cabinet w/ 2 sink cabinet not made of plastic!
Tile floor
Replace tile shower surround
Install tankless water heater
Replace hardware/shower system when tiling
Resurface tub
Install molding on doors
Remove and patch existing medicine cabinet
Install new hardware (towel bars, hooks, toilet paper dispenser, etc)
Make and install 2 recessed medicine cabinets above sinks
Replace light fixture
Install light/fan on ceiling
Replace window
Install molding around window
Make/hang roman shades for window

Pink Room aka "Matthews Room" -
Hang curtains
Hang new shade
Caulk trim
Paint trim
Paint closet door
Install molding on doors
Install trim around window
PAINT

Teddy Bear Room - 
Remove wallpaper
Paint ceiling
Paint walls
Caulk trim
Paint trim
Install molding on door
Replace carpet
Hang new shade

Spare Bedroom -
Replace window
Install molding around window
Install molding on door
Caulk trim
Paint trim
Paint room
Hang curtains
Set up bed, dressers, side tables, etc for guests

Exterior

Front of House - 
Finish landscaping
Hang new light on porch
Paint trim
Paint garage door
Pave side parking spot
Remove barrel thing from mailbox area

Back of House -
Power wash deck
Fix rotted boards on deck
Paint/seal deck
Grow garden
Fix rotted portion of shed
Put patio set from michigan on deck
Install lighting for deck

Garage -
Paint side door
Paint door going into house
Reaaaally organize all tools and stuff
Get rid of all remaining carpet trash





No big deal right....
